Discover how NICO is applying nanobubble engineering to productive industries, resilient communities and healthier water systems.
To revolutionize water management, empower agriculture, advance health and wellness, and drive the global adoption of nanobubble technology through strategic industry collaborations.
Building and leading a bold ecosystem of nanobubbles for a bluer planet.
The principles that shape
everything we build and deliver.
We continuously push the boundaries of science and engineering to develop next-generation nanobubble solutions.
We are committed to creating technologies that restore ecosystems, reduce resource consumption, and enable sustainable growth.
We believe meaningful impact is built through strong partnerships across industries, institutions, and communities.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards in performance, reliability, and execution, every system, every time.
We enable industries and communities with solutions that improve efficiency, outcomes, and long-term value.
We foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, driving stronger innovation and better outcomes.
NICO began as a global innovation-led initiative with a clear belief: ultra-fine bubbles could change how gas is transferred into water. It has grown into a global platform developing nanobubble mixers, pump packages, oxygen and ozone systems, controls and monitoring-ready solutions.
Our approach begins with the water. We review chemistry, flow, temperature, salinity, infrastructure and the required outcome before recommending equipment. A remote irrigation property, high-biomass aquaculture facility and regional treatment lagoon do not need the same configuration.
Systems can introduce air for general oxygenation, oxygen for higher-demand duties, or ozone for appropriately engineered oxidation. Configurations range from compact retrofit mixers to integrated skids with pumping, gas supply, sensors and alarms. Australian design also considers distance, seasonal extremes, access, corrosion and treated-water distribution. Where uncertainty is high, a monitored pilot can establish evidence before scale-up.
Australia’s water systems face climate variability, long distances, and competing demands.
NICO supports irrigation, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, water reuse, and restoration applications.
Nanobubble technology can enhance gas transfer within suitable water management systems.
NICO solutions form part of a broader approach to efficient and sustainable water management.
We see Australian growers conditioning water more precisely, aquaculture operators managing oxygen with greater visibility, treatment facilities recovering more value from existing assets, and water managers restoring stressed water bodies through evidence-led programmes.
Nanobubbles work best with monitoring, sound operations, source control and appropriate treatment stages. NICO aims to collaborate with Australian operators, consultants and researchers to test, learn and scale responsibly.
