Discover how NICO is applying nanobubble engineering to high-value production, efficient treatment and responsible water management across Japan.
To revolutionize water management, empower agriculture, advance health and wellness, and drive the global adoption of nanobubble technology through strategic industry collaborations.
Building and leading a bold ecosystem of nanobubbles for a bluer planet.
The principles that shape
everything we build and deliver.
We continuously push the boundaries of science and engineering to develop next-generation nanobubble solutions.
We are committed to creating technologies that restore ecosystems, reduce resource consumption, and enable sustainable growth.
We believe meaningful impact is built through strong partnerships across industries, institutions, and communities.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards in performance, reliability, and execution, every system, every time.
We enable industries and communities with solutions that improve efficiency, outcomes, and long-term value.
We foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, driving stronger innovation and better outcomes.
NICO began as a global innovation-led initiative with a clear belief: ultra-fine bubbles could change how gas is transferred into water. It has grown into a global technology platform developing nanobubble mixers, pump packages, gas systems, controls and monitoring-ready solutions.
Our engineering starts with the application. Water chemistry, temperature, flow, solids, process geometry and the required outcome influence system selection. A hatchery tank, hydroponic loop, wastewater basin and urban pond require different approaches.
Systems can introduce air for general oxygenation, oxygen for higher-demand duties, or ozone for appropriately engineered oxidation and cleaning applications. Configurations range from compact retrofit mixers to automated skids with pumping, gas supply, sensors, alarms and data logging.
Japan’s expectations for quality and process visibility make measurement central. Where scale-up is uncertain, a controlled pilot can establish evidence before deployment.
Japan needs efficient water solutions for industries and cities.
Nanobubbles support hatcheries and aquaculture systems.
Nanobubbles support efficient municipal and industrial water treatment.
Nanobubbles improve gas transfer for cultivation, restoration and cleaning.
We see aquaculture teams controlling oxygen more precisely, growers monitoring irrigation loops closely, factories strengthening water efficiency, municipalities improving treatment resilience and communities restoring water bodies through integrated action.
Nanobubbles work best with competent operation, monitoring, source control and appropriate treatment stages. NICO aims to collaborate with Japanese operators, universities, engineers and technology partners to evaluate applications responsibly.
