Plantation Agriculture and Irrigation

Plantation nurseries and high-value crops rely on water delivered under changing storage and weather conditions. Oxygen-rich irrigation can be evaluated where water or root-zone oxygen is a relevant constraint.

Trials should compare representative plants or plots while accounting for drainage, nutrition, substrate and management. Reservoir oxygen alone is not evidence of improved crop performance.
Aquaculture

Freshwater and Marine Aquaculture

Freshwater ponds, coastal hatcheries and marine holding systems have different oxygen requirements. Temperature, salinity, stock, feeding and circulation influence both demand and gas transfer.

NICO configurations can be evaluated in compatible controlled-water systems. Open-water cages require a separate hydraulic and environmental assessment; results from enclosed tanks cannot be assumed to apply offshore.
Wastewater

Industrial and Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Factories and sewage facilities face different influent characteristics, treatment technologies and operating constraints. Improved oxygen delivery may help where aerobic treatment is genuinely limited by gas transfer.

Assessment considers equalisation, inhibitory compounds, solids, nutrient-removal stages and the required final quality. Selected oxidation applications need separate testing and safety controls.
Lake Restoration

Lakes, Ponds and Rivers Water Restoration

Urban lakes, landscape ponds and other managed water bodies may experience low oxygen, odour and organic accumulation. These symptoms can reflect continuing inflows as well as processes within the water body.

Targeted oxygenation may support selected zones. Durable improvement also needs investigation of nutrients, sediments, drainage connections, hydrology and ecological objectives.
Lake Restoration

Palm-Oil Mill Effluent Treatment

Palm-oil mill effluent requires a complete treatment approach, with different roles for upstream conditioning, biological stages and final polishing. Nanobubble oxygenation may be assessed where oxygen delivery limits a suitable aerobic process.

The assessment must preserve anaerobic biogas recovery and account for solids, residual organic load and existing aeration. An oxygenation package is not a replacement for the full treatment train.
