STRAWBERRY FARM CASE STUDY (Manouli Village, Sonipat)

LOCATION :

Manouli Village, Sonipat

Farmer Name :

Mr. Praveen Chauhan

Objective

To observe the difference in Strawberry farm using NNB water and without NNB water and to

  • Improve strawberry yield
  • Control soil-borne diseases
  • Promote healthier crop growth

Results

  • The primary objective is to remove the algae concentration at Beat No. 1 and restored the water body for Lion-Tailed Macaque (LTM).
  • To analyze the changes in the following water parameters: BOD, COD, TSS, E-Coli and DO.
Category Details
Pre-Installation Water source: Borewell Farming method: Soil-based (no Polyhouse)
Unit Details Generator: NH-30 (30 m3/hr) with Oxygen Concentrator Gas: Oxygen
Installation: Outlet of Borewell
Trial Info Duration: 1 hour
Application: Strawberry beds
Parameter without NNB water with NNB water Improvement
Average yield/Plant yield 600–800 grams 800–1,000 grams 20 to 25%
Total Yield/Acre 18,000–24,000 kg 24,000–30,000 kg 6,000 kg (avg.)
Fruit size & firmness Medium Bigger, firmer, better color 5–20%
Disease incidence 20–30% loss due to fungal/bacterial rot 5–10% loss (due to better root health) –50–70% in losses
Fertilizer/pesticide Use Normal (100%) Reduced by 15–25% (due to better uptake) Cost savings
Harvest time Normal 5–7 days earlier Time saved

Yield Without NNB water

Yield With NNB water

Conclusion

The NH-30 nanobubble system demonstrated up to 10 ppm dissolved oxygen enhancement in irrigation water, resulting in a 5–7% yield improvement, reduced chemical input by 10–15%, and visibly healthier strawberry plants. This pilot, conducted at a soil-based, open-field strawberry farm in Sonipat, Haryana, suggests strong replicability for similar agro-climatic regions.
